My business is based on this philosophy. It’s what motivates me to wake up every morning and log on to the world of eBay, where everything is possible. My experience with online business started not too long ago. I was home when I decided to attack a monster closet in my room. As I emptied out all the mess, I realized that the majority of my belongings were no longer used by me or any member of my household. I considered my options. Trash? Definitely not. This stuff was too good to just throw away. Charity? I must say that I have a good heart, but donating everything would be a little extreme. I looked over to my computer. eBay! That’s when it all clicked.
I’ve been a member for almost two years, and before this, the closest I had ever gotten to a transaction was selling a pair of Six Flags Great Adventure Tickets. My account was here, but I didn’t really consider myself a member. I started to research a little more about how eBay worked, and finally put up a few listings. They sold fast, I made some money, and decided to move further with this endeavor.
Now, I don’t really know where eBay will lead me. I still haven’t figured out specific items I’d like to focus on selling. For now, I simply try to find quality merchandise that may serve a fellow member well. And most importantly, I do my best to sell items at the best price possible, while offering extraordinary customer service. Honestly, a gigantic profit margin is not my ultimate goal.
