I've been buying and selling guitars as a hobby since the mid '70s. In 1991, it became clear that my long-term hobby could be more than just a hobby. I threw caution to the wind and officially named myself a guitar dealer.

 Over the years, it became obvious that I lack the "hunger" that many dealers have, to maximize their profits on every deal in which they partake. I’m very well known for paying more than I should for guitars, and then selling them for less than I should.  E-Bay has provided a place for me to sell some of my inventory, where the negotiation is done buy you the buyer with other buyers. In this arena, some one else is essentially determining the fair price for my instruments.

 For me, this business is still something I enjoy because it has enabled me to build some wonderful relationships with people that I would have otherwise never met. Being able to own some wonderful guitars (if sometimes only for a short while) has been icing on the cake as far as career choices are concerned.
