SILVER PLATE TRAY & GLOBE, MADE INTO A CENTERPIECE.

Hello from small town Maine! In our little shop of wonders we try to cater to the antique tool collector but we have broadened our horizons to include other vintage and interesting items as we find them. We do yard saling, and go to estate sales/auctions in our hunt for interesting items to include in our store. Hubby loves to crawl through folks' attics, barns and basements, in search of that interesting find. In fact, that's his favorite thing to do!

We proudly have items that have been used in off Broadway plays, as well as several items in museums across America! One lady bought an old brass spigot and included it in a bird house she made! Another lady bought a silver plate tray and turned it into a beautiful centerpiece for her dining room table to put a plant in. One customer bought some vintage canning jars for rocks that he was tumbling as gifts for his family - he then sent my sons a jar full of rocks from the Northwest!  Our favorite experience was when we sold a vintage Rutledge plaque to the artist's grand daughter, who has been trying to collect some of her grampa's works!

As you can see, we like to stay in touch and see what you did with an item. We have made many friends on Ebay and hope to make more, so if you are doing something interesting with an item or have restored  it, keep in touch and let us see!  It is such a rewarding feeling to know that that old rusty item has now been restored or is in use again. We all need money, but It warms our heart when this happens and a customer lets us know or send us a picture.
