| The Open Bible was started in 1976 when the Lord called a UC Davis researcher to leave his University career and start a bookstore that would be open, welcoming, and a resource for all churches, believers and truth-seekers in the community of Davis, California. The Open Bible sold books, bibles, cards, gifts, music & more from various downtown Davis locations for 26 years until the original owner's retirement at the end of 2002. Ken & Pat Bradford bought the name and remaining assets, found & remodeled a new location, and reopened in December 2003. The Open Bible operated at 638 G Street through February 2009, but with the changing buying habits of so many Americans, it's time to close the brick & mortar store and sell the remaining inventory online. You'll find excellent prices on all our remaining stock (more posted every week!) of carefully selected inspirational books, bibles, music & gifts. |
