About Original Prototype

Original Prototype is based in Austin, TX and dedicated to bringing you new and used products at discount prices. Most items are tested to the best of our ability and resources and results of the test will be listed in each auction. If it doesn't work, we will tell you. If it could be used for parts only, we will tell you. We don't want to rip you off, and do want to make you aware of any product defects up front. We want you to get what you expect and our auctions try to reflect the exact condition of the item being sold.

Return Policy

All item are sold "as-is" with no warranty of any kind. We do not sell "junk." If we are not able to repair it, but know that it is repairable, we will offer the item at a low starting price (most of the time 99 cents). The auction will clearly state the condition of the product being sold and if any testing has been done. Please read the auction description carefully as there will be no returns honored. If the product you received does not fit the description that we posted, please contact us immediately to have the issue resolved. We want you, our customer, to be happy with your purchase.

Shipping

All of our auctions will have a fixed shipping charge clearly stated in each auction. At this time, there is no shipping discount for multiple auctions won. Your shipment is shipped through the best carrier based on weight and distance. For example, a CD would be shipped by the United States Postal Service and a complete computer would be shipped by FedEx, UPS, Airborne, etc. We try to ship all items within 3 business days of receiving the funds. (Most of the time it is faster). Shipping is to the lower 48 states only. Any optional insurance purchased will only be up to the amount of the winning bid, even if the item is worth more. All items are shipping FOB Shipping Point, no exceptions.

Payment

We gladly accept PayPal. We are a verified PayPal member, so bid with confidence. We have been a PayPal member since 2000. Please make all payments within 5 days. Items not paid for may be relisted and appropriate feedback will be left for the non-paying bidder.
