Love to travel.  Love to flea.  Love to eBay.  That’s ME!

Hello.  My name is Peggy.  Ever since I attended an auction at the age of eight…and that’s many years ago…I have been hooked on treasure hunting.  I love to visit flea markets, estate and garage sales, and second hand stores.  I travel locally and abroad.

My only daughter moved to Germany several years ago and I turned the lemon of having her move so far away from home, into lemonade, as a new adventure for treasure hunting!  When I go to visit her (at least twice a year), we visit as many flea markets in Europe as our time and budget will allow.  I hand carry all of my treasures back home and offer many of them to you on ebay.

So far I have visited flea markets in Paris, Amsterdam, the Czech Republic, the Black Forest area of Germany, old East Germany, Switzerland, and many flea markets in surrounding areas of Bavaria where my daughter lives.   My most fun find has been an antique infant mannequin that I found in Kempten, Gemany.  I carried her around the market and everyone thought that I was carrying a baby!  She made her trip back to the U.S. wrapped in bubble wrap in a gym bag as my carry-on luggage. She was eventually purchased as a set prop for the movie Leatherheads.  She went Hollywood!

I really don’t look for anything in particular but my eye seems to go to old glassware and pottery, designer handbags, old linens, steins...just about anything.  I do have an eye for finding unusual items.  One of my friends in Germany says that I am like a blind chicken in a barnyard finding the last kernel of corn.

I also scour local garage sales and estate sales whenever I get a chance.  I put on my “chicken” eyes in search of unique items to offer on ebay.

I have just left the orthopedic field after 15 years and am now selling on eBay full time!  Now I have lots of time to devote to finding unique items to offer.

My dream is to be able to visit flea markets all over the world looking for items that others have paid me to find for them!  If you have any special requests, give me a shout.  I’d love to keep my eyes open for items for you.
