Hello! My name is Lisa and I am a mother of two wonderful children with Autism. I have a 9 year old and a 13 year old and my life is kept busy taking care of them. I started selling on Ebay 4 years ago to help offset some of the medical costs associated with their care.
I decided to open an Ebay store so that I could offer some of the same products that were being used by the speech, occupational and physical therapists ~ at a fraction of the cost of those "Special Needs" Catalogs! I am constantly looking for new items that I feel would benefit my children, and at the same time maybe help others as well.
My husband and I also help run a recreation program for children and adults with disabilities. We play Baseball, Kickball, Volleyball, Basketball, and Bowling with these truly special people. We have people that have autism, cerebral palsy, brain injuries, wheelchairs, walkers, that are deaf, amputees, and so on. To see them come together for an afternoon of fun despite their disability is truly amazing to see, and a true blessing to all that come to cheer them on!
Not everything that we have is listed at this time. If you are looking for something in particular - email me and I will let you know if I have it. If I have it I can list it for you. Otherwise I can keep it in mind while I am out checking out new products. My mission is to raise Autism Awareness as 1 in 150 children now are being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
