Our Mims Retirement Haven was created as legacy to the 1977 Eclipse Champion Filly, Our Mims. Our Mims raced for Calumet and was retired there as a broodmare after the first part of her career. When Calumet's horses were dispersed in 1992, Our Mims was also sold. Jeanne Mirabito adopted Mims through ReRun and brought the mare to her own farm. Mims lived out her life surrounded by love, fans, and peppermints while "working" (making appearances) as a ReRun representative.
