From compact discs to percussion Started out selling CDs for fun, and ended up being the sales director for Anvil Creations Studio close-out sale. Having collected musical instruments for most of my life, I now have come to the place where I have decided to sell most of my collection. Much vintage equipment has already been sold, but there are still lots of unique items in my studio that I have yet to part with, so keep watching my auctions and BIN listings. Since I have played drums for 35 years, I have many items modern drummers look for these days. More recently, I have taken up hand drums, and have developed my own "set" for playing with my favorite guitarist. I have sold many of my djembes, and other world drums, but there are many more facets to playing percussion that I plan for exposure to the eBay community at large. Once the musical instruments are depleted from my studio, I'll probably go back to selling CDs and maybe my massive record collection as well. I started playing keyboards many years before I switched to percussion. I still have much of my synthesizer arsenal, although the minimoog and string ensemble are sold. Having taken electronic music in college, I began to listen to obscure and abstract musics. I have composed and recorded much abstract music, as well as a more traditional prog-rock type of band material. I have never found much of a market for electronic music, althought there are quite a few who have: Klaus Schulze, Jeff Greinke, Steve Roach, Asmus Tietchens, Tetsu Inoue, Pete Namlook, Thom Brennan and Robert Rich; just to name a few. My favorite classical composer from the 20th century was Iannis Xenakis.
