My 10th Year on eBay * Thanks to You! 

Going to yard sales is fun! I love it. I started yard-saleing in 1994 and haven't stopped yet... I travel the Ozarks and beyond going to over 750 yard sales a year & scour thrift shops, auctions, *estate*sales*, antiques stores, *flea*markets*, peoples' homes, nooks & crannies, anywhere and everywhere! I enjoy the thrill of the hunt as much as you do. I even survived (loved) the world's longest yard sale (450 miles) from Gadsden, Alabama to Covington, Tennessee along the Hwy. 127 Corridor. The stories I could tell....you wouldn't believe. Really!!

For many years my dream was to work from my cozy home, and thanks to ebay and YOU (my many customers, both existing and those yet to come) ; I am now privileged to do just that. Also, an extra large measure of gratitude to my loving husband for supporting me and allowing me to work with what I love. I prefer old things to new and decorate my home with the *shabby*chic* and *country*cottage* looks. Some things I buy for myself but decide to sell them to another appreciative caretaker. Some I buy to sell and then decide to keep them. I never know what I'm going to find or do.

I am a fifty-something granny married to a wonderful papa. Love him. I also have a great daughter, son-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters. I am blessed to have these cool people in my life. I love my family, and God blesses me every day. Another love of my life is my Maine coon cat, Bobby, one of the best ever gifts I have received.

Since the bug bit me I have been collecting, buying, selling & trading antiques & collectibles for many years. I've had small stores and many booths in antiques malls and flea markets in the Ozarks. The older treasures are what I try to buy and offer on ebay including POTTERY, CHINA, GLASSWARE, CURIOSITIES, etc.

Why a "me" page? I hope to share a little part of "me" with "you". I love eBay! I love what I do, and I want you to love your experience, too. Your emails mean a lot to me. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement over the years. This "me" page and all my antiquing is dedicated to my mom who passed away in 1983 and my dad who passed away in 1993. They always loved and appreciated antiques, as did my grandmother, so I guess my love of antiques was inherited from them.
