I was introduced to Ebay some years ago by a jeweller friend who sells considerable amounts of his stock at the site.
Early success using Ebay to sell many of my own unwanted items has now developed into an 'industry' selling goods for my three grown up children who regularly drop a new 'load' on me whenever they visit. Combined with my own belongings these are the only things that I sell.
My Selling Policy
I believe in being fair and honest and to date have had no complaints from anyone. I charge only the exact same amount that the post office charges me for the carriage plus just 40 pence towards the cost of the packaging - it always annoys me when I buy an item, pay £2.30 for postage and find that it has cost the seller only 85p in stamps!
I always obtain a receipt of posting from the Post Office - on the odd occasion that an item is lost in the post I am able to reclaim the cost of the item and refund the buyer (up to the P.O. compensation limits) This has happened only three times so far.
If any buyer considers that I have described an item incorrectly or is disappointed with their purchase then I will refund the bid price in full as soon the item is returned to me.
I leave feedback as soon as a buyer leaves it for me. Below you will see the most recent feedback comments left about me - hopefully they will be up to the usual high standard.
If you have a problem with anything that I sell I can assure you that if you tell me about it I will sort it out without fail.
Please email me if you want help with any item that I have for sale. I am always pleased to help in any way.
Praise: Nice item, exactly as described. Great ebay seller.
