Back to previous page  Pam at Uniquely Kentucky Baskets Hi, In trying to figure out what to say about me and more precisely about the item I am selling on Ebay, I tried to figure out what someone reading this might want to know. So, I have been making baskets for sale for over 25 years, My mother taught me although she is semi-retired now, most of our original basket designs are her's. We were both born and raised in Kentucky, We live on 80 plus acres of wooded knob land in Central Kentucky in a home built by by Grandfather. Since mom has been cutting back on basketmaking due to arthritis, we have cut way back on the juried art fairs we did in the past, but I thought Ebay might be a way to make a little extra money but more importantly to pass on the love of basket making to someone else! I think That's the great thing about ebay and the internet is to connect from Ky to across the US. The part I most enjoyed at art show was sharing new designs and ideas and technique with other basketmakers. I am hoping to do the same here on Ebay. There are also hand scolled Christmas ornaments, My nephew is the craftsman. I am reworking the patterns to be sure they are detailed enough without one of us explaining it live in person, although I have no problem with e-mailing help to fellow basketmakers, and I would appreciate any help or advice offered to me, Mom always says if you think you know everything, you don't know anything!
