About Me...
Hello! I am Pamela. I am using Ebay to help supplement my husband's income. I am a homeschooling mother of three beautiful girls. We have homeschooled for 10 years now and love it. Through the years we have tried many different approaches to homeschooling. For our family, we have found that a literature-based approach using hands-on activities works the best. Our homeschooling adventure has inspired our love of good books and exposed us to many literary gems we would have otherwise missed. My girls are loving the Ebay experience because they pick over the goodies I bring home to list and will often claim something for their own instead of letting me sell it, building their own personal library of favorites. That is fine with me because I want to develop in them a lifelong love of reading good books and think there is no better way to do that than to give them ready access to the best available.

My Screen Name and Ebay IDs...
Prov31mom23 - Proverbs 31 speaks about a women with many positive virtues. Among them is the ability to make money for her family's benefit while at home. I have set this woman before me as an example and aspire to become more like her through the years, not only in her ability to contribute to the family finances, but also in her gentle spirit and caring attitude, resourcefulness and stewardship of the things that God has given her. The mom23 part refers to the fact that I am a mother to three girls.
My previous ID was RoyalRabbits - well, when we lived in the country (Oh, how I long for the country!), my girls raised pedigreed mini-rex rabbits. What a wonderful, educational experience for them. In addition to personal responsibility and financial management, they learned a great deal about genetics as they selectively bred different pairs of rabbits. What an amazing experience! Hands-on is always so much better than reading about it in a textbook, in my opinion. Now that we live in the city, we have only one rabbit that we keep as a pet.
With a move to the city, rabbits are no longer a big part of our lives. When I opened my Ebay store, Pamelas-Treasure-Chest, I decided a change of ID was in order as well. While I enjoy searching and looking for treasures that I can resell on Ebay, my real treasures are the children God has blessed me with the privilege of raising. So my new ID reflects both the treasures I look for and the ones I have the honor of living with everyday.
