The Creation of Pamtiques

Pamtiques was started over 25 years ago as a part time business specializing in Jewelry and ladies accessories. I had a passion for vintage jewelry. I acquired so much of it that I started selling it to make room for more (exactly how most of us start in the antique business). I expanded my line so that I could offer my customers a wide range of items. With the knowledge and experience shared by family and friends I can now offer a full line of small antiques. It was always a goal to make Pamtiques a full time business. As my son was growing up I worked in the Computer Technology and Customer Support industries. When he became an independent young man I was able to invest more time and resources into Pamtiques to meet my goal.

Pamtiques Business Philosophy

Our lifestyles are so busy we do not get a chance to run down to the neat little shops. Instead we head for the shopping centers so we can get all of or day to day needs in one place. I found that I could blend Antiques with Computer Technology and offer part of my inventory via the Internet. Customers can shop any time of day or night.  I love being able to make my items available to anyone anywhere in the world at any time.

We offer merchandise on other sites

Ebay is a great place to buy and sell. But Ebay has made changes in the past year that makes it harder and harder for small sellers to stay here. Fees have gone up, restrictions are in place effecting every aspect of the sell. Now Ebay wants to protect you the buyer from choosing and working with the seller on payment methods. Sellers can only accept payments electronically for any item that has to be mailed. Ebay has a list of approved provides, but only 1 or 2 are really set up for US transactions. Most are either for the EU, Austraila, India or the UK. All are safe, but are not really set for USD type transactions. It really just comes down to Ebay/Pay Pal making more money.I guess Ebay feels you are not smart enough to make a payment decision on your own. They point to Walmarts and Amazon saying they only accept CC or online payments. Thats OK, but they are not service or venue providers like Ebay either.

Because of all of these changes I am moving away from Ebay. I can sell merchandise on other sites for less, I do not have the Ebay Fees or Pay Pal fees to work into the cost of my merchandise. So take the time and find me and my other selling venues. Many are unique and make shopping fun.

Ebays says I cannot tell you about this site or other sites. You might go shop on other sites and Ebay would not get any revenue from them. Funny part is that most of the other sites are more than willing to let sellers share information about their other sell venues. o

It's worth the effort to search the web for my Ebay seller id to find my other sites. There are lots of other sellers out there too, most of us can offer our items for less as we have less overhead.

On my site use coupon code 'Foundit' and receive 20% off, even on items I just marked down. Its easy to find me, just use the standard and most common URL format with my Ebay ID in the middle. Or just search for my Ebay ID and find all my sites.
