Back to previous page  papa*nannysfunstuff Nanny (Barb) & Papa (Jerry) at area trade show Papa and Nanny are what our grandchildren call us, all 6 of them (seventh one is due November 2008)!  We have been married 37 years and our very first date was Jerry's Senior Prom.  We have been in business for ourselves in Illinois and in Texas, we work very well together!  Our main career has been in the automotive field, Jerry had been a mechanic with all sorts of degrees for over 40 years.  I, Barb, have learned so much about cars that a lot of people say I know more than most men do!  LOL  Jerry always saw to it that we had a video game system since back in the 70's.  This fascination turned into a fixation to bring back these wonderful and family oriented systems to be enjoyed today.  His mechanical background has definitly helped him repair and bring back to life many a system. We like to go to garage and estate sales, we find some neat things that we think somebody else might enjoy....funstuff! Barb has embarked on a new hobby, embroidering!  Look for some of her handywork in our store and up for auction! Barb is the champion lister and we both do the shipping department!  We believe in honesty and treating others the way we want to be treated. Jerry and I have been blessed with one daughter and one son.  We also have 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson. We all live in the Dallas area and it is a great comfort to us that our children and grandchildren are close by.  Since we are 'empty nesters' we still have our beloved dogs!  Smokey is a 13 year old Lab, Ranger is a 6 year old Poodle and about a year ago we inherited our son's Poodle who is 3 years old and named Killer!
