| I began selling books after becoming tired of moving boxes of books around that I had already read. I couldn't bring myself to throw them away, so I tried selling them online. I tried making a go at selling books on-line as a full time career, however there was just no money in it (not enough to live off of anyway). So now I only sell books on-line on the side and work full-time for the Humane Society. There's no money in that either ... but what the hey ... |

My previous career was in the field of purchasing. I am a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and and Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) ... but disheartened with corporate life, I began searching for a business I could run myself. I eventually bought out the inventory of a local bookstore that was closing down.
