I'm a returning member of Ebay. I'm back after a long break. Theres a lot to see and do here, a person could just live here. :) I am into lots of things. Lemme tell you about them.
- First, I'm a Hot Wheels Collector. I love em, and not just Hot Wheels, all diecast. Old Matchbox Lesneys are also cool. I have a moderate size collection.
Heres what I like to look for:
- Tomicas. Any of em, I love em.
- Hot Wheels Redlines. The ones I don't have. I'll have to make a list later.
- Hot Wheels Blackwalls. I need to make a list later and put it here.
- Treasure Hunts - I'd love to get that red '58 Plymouth!! Wow!!
- Dinkys
- Lesneys, the old Matchboxes from about 1958 to 1968.
- I'm also a bicyclist. I might be on here looking for the next new bike, parts, or something.
- I like to tinker with electronics like the BASIC STAMP, (its a microcontroller) and things like that.
- I'm a musician, I play guitar and fiddle and I'd like to get a mandolin. I don't know much about them. Once I feel ready to bid, I want to try to get one. I know I don't want a 'beginner'.
- I want the The One Ibiza Ride Mens Watch. Neat watch!
- I collect world coins and transit tokens. Always looking for more to add to the collection.
- I'm currently on the hunt for a couple new pickups for this electric guitar I have. I'm learning all about it as I go.
I like the Stratocaster setup, I hope to have 2 or 3 pickups, a switch, a few pots for vol and tone. Currently, its a really old
(dad got this used back in '70 or so) white electric with no badges on it. Its got one really old PU and a vol and tone knob. The
bridge is rusty and had a tremolo bar on it thats gone now, also a cover over it thats missing. I like the action of it, the
strings are low. I hope to get it updated with some newer parts. I still wonder if its not just easier to go find a cheap 3 pickup
electric and forget about this one. I'm currently looking for these. Something in the strat or fake strat type with a passive
pickup.
- A loaded pickgaurd with either 2 or 3 passive PUs - all wired.
- 2 or three loose PUS, passive, and tone and vol pots, and a 5 way switch
- Possibly a new bridge.
I realise that the body will need to be hollowed out more and the pickguard will need to be adapted to it somehow.
Heres some pics of it
And thats all the news I can tell you about. More coming soon as I can find time,
Jack
