Here at Peasant Clothier we offer quality Renaissance style clothing at great prices.
Most items are acceptable by the LARP, SCA and other groups, such as the International Wenches Guild. We cater to the one timers attending a period celebration such as weddings to die hards who attend events on a weekly basis. Due to the design of some items they are frequently used in other period groups such as Colonial, Victorian, Civil War, Rendezvous and Fantasy.
Most items are ready made and ship quickly, so you don't have to wait weeks. |

My name is Wendlyn and this is my shop. Every item is designed and hand made by my hands so that I have control over the quality. I have been making Renaissance garb for ten years. I also co-own and manage a campground so my days are full and long. Needless to say during the summer months my patrons may experience some delays in communication due to my busy schedule. Many items are approved for wear at many fairs, events, guilds and societies, of course you should still do your own research on this matter.
Here are just some comments sent to me:

Peasant Clothier items are designed not to be constraining to your inner Renaissance character . You can dress it up or down just by a change in accessories and personality. My clothing lets you be a fair maiden one day and a bawdy pirate another. Be a roguish road agent, a mouthy bar wench, or the sweetest lass in all the parish. There is nothing you can't be and you can change it every minute, day, or year. All items have quality materials and have my skill put in to them. I keep the prices low so that my patrons will spend their money taking that extra step of having alterations done. All items have some degree of room to be custom fitted. It really makes a huge difference to do so. I often use a poly mix on purpose, not just for the price. It holds it color better especially if you spend much time in the sun, it is easier to care for, and adds a bit of durability to the item.
I am always glad to help with fitting and questions to fitting. I only have one thing to say about buying anything without actually trying it on, GET A TAPE MEASURER! Asking me what size to get by telling me you wear a size 10 or your bra size doesn't help me. Also there are different levels of comfort so you have to let me know if you want that boobs in your throat or you just want support with the ability to have room to eat, drink and laugh or all the different levels in between. Fitting is all about finding what you can live with physically and image you want to create. I would need to have your actual bust measurements, that is clear around your chest including the breast, and your waist measurements. A good rule of thumb for beginners is as close to your actual waist measurement up to one inch smaller and two inches smaller at the bust. Almost all my items have room to take in or let out at the side seams, so if you find an item that is really darn close to what you want than it will more often than not work, but you should ask first. Again, just a reminder, don't assume anything about clothing on eBay without actually knowing its measurements compared to your own actual measurements! Everyone should own a measuring tape if they want to have a good experience buying clothes online.
Feedback is left only after feedback is given. If you have a question or concern contact me first. To often I see people leaving bad feedback to sellers as a form of communication. Most of the time negative feedback is left by ewbies My only negative I ever received was from someone with less than 25 feedbacks. When I promise immediate shipping I mean immediate shipment after payment. You get exactly what is stated in the auction. If it says bodice and skirt, that is what you get. If it is pictured over a farthingale (hoopskirt), crinoline, or with a chemise (blouse) you only get the bodice and skirt. All the other items are props. You don't buy shoes when they are pictured on a lady wearing a suit and actually think you are getting the outfit also?
I am a card carrying wench, I really do belong to the International Wenches Guild, and worked 25 years in bars. I am the sassy dirty minded laughing smoking drinking bawdy lady I am meant to be. I only mention these things so that if you are hyper sensitive to these any of this, you may not want to work with me. I get a sense of accomplishment and pride sewing but love the privilege of helping others look and feel great getting the Renaissance spirit.
