Hi and welcome to the "Write Place Ladies Clothing & Collectibles" page!

I currently reside in the suburban Detroit, MI and am an analyst for the government in my day job. 

I came back from long term service overseas in 1998 (to DC), then  moved home to settle in Michigan in 1999.  I love my work, my home and life here in the Great Lakes.

I have a side business as a writer (thus "The Write Place"), in which I provide all types of research and writing services to businesses and the general public as one of my many evening jobs and hobbies.  In fact, if it can be written, I can write it!  From speeches, resumes and winning cover letters, to news articles and research papers, I can provide the research and writing product you need!.  I have even been known to write wedding vows and love letters written from YOUR heart by simply using an interview technique to find the feelings to translate to words.  This is a handy service for  those who have a bad case of writer's block, or just can't seem to find the words to express the feelings they have or information they know.  

The items I sell formerly belonged to family members and friends (we all LOVE clothes and are shameless clothes horses).  So, since I learned to do eBay (and they didn't), I am the designated family eBayer working dilligently to pass on great bargains from our closets to yours.  It makes little sense for YOU to pay $200 for a formal outfit for your cruise when my neice already did.  You can now own it for $30 and save the rest of the money for the casino ;  ). 

I have often traveled abroad and some family members still do -- we sell items we have accumulated abroad and  have grown tired of (or, if I am honest, out of ....).  Still perfect, they come to you for a second phase of usefulness (and for prices you just won't believe!)

One key thing I have learned through the years on eBay is to take good care of folks who are kind enough to visit and patronize my auctions and store.  Frankly, the Golden Rule i critical and if you want folks to trust you and come back (I do and I do) you must care for them well and make them feel safe in spending their hard earned dollars with you.  So, I assure that I create an atmosphere of welcome and a feeling of specialness for my customers.  I want them to be happy with the transaction which is why I stand behind my sales 100% everyday. 

I treat others as I would ask to be treated (please see my feedback) and GUARANTEE your satisfaction.  I make every attempt to list my items accurately but if I miss -- I welcome your questions because they give me an opportunity to correct the ad.  I ALWAYS back my listings with my 100% guarantee and also seek to offer personalized service on the web -- unheard of till now!!  It is VERY important to me that you are able to BID WITH CONFIDENCE. 

Finally, rest assured, I would never knowingly sell anything that I personally would not be excited to receive in the mail following an auction.

As you can imagine, I am never bored because there is always something to do around here!

One of my greatest hobbies while serving more than 17 years overseas (mostly in Europe) was going to outdoor markets.  In the case of the UK, (which was my center of operation during many years in Europe), I spent my weekends going to "Boot Sales" (huge outdoor fleas markets) looking for treasures.  Consequently, I brought many lovely things back from overseas.  Some of those items are now finding their way to other collectors through my eBaying because there is only so much space in a small suburban home!  I have a collecting bug and love beautiful and unusual things.  It is this that actually brought me to Ebay in the beginning. 

That takes me to today where you find me selling on Ebay on a daily basis.  Ebay is the best way I know to recycle our treasures to new homes. In tough economic times it makes sense and ecologically it really is a better way to live.   I am very mindful that I should be mindful not to waste. 

As it turns out, I have met many fine folks doing business on Ebay.  I confess that I enjoy it far more than I ever thought I would -- and so I have stayed.  eBay reinforces my belief that there are a LOT of great people out there across America (and around the world) and this is the greatest way to meet the best of them.  I am so glad to be on the Ebay team with them!  I have developed fun correspondence with many new eBayers and some of my customers which I enjoy so much it is hard to express it.
