Thanks for checking out my "about me" page. I thought that I would give my valued customers a closer look at who they are buying from. I have been a magazine junky since I was a kid, and started subscribing to magazines as early as the age of seven. My first subscription was to Motor Trend, and I expanded from there. I loved any magazine about cars, and later motorcycles. One of my favorite things about these magazines was looking at the great advertisements in them. I would dream of someday owning that '64 Impala SS 409, or that Corvette Fuel Injected Coupe pictured on the page in front of me. The problem was that I had a hard time parting with any of these magazines, much to my mother's, and later my wife's dismay. I began removing some of my favorite ads and articles and saving them. They took up less room than the magazines themselves. I then decided to thin down my collection of vintage ads, which is how I got started on eBay.
I hope you enjoy browsing through my diverse collection of magazine ads. They are great fun to collect in a binder, or to put in a frame and display where you and others may enjoy them. Especially if it's an ad for a car or motorcycle you used to own in days gone by, or that you may be lucky enough to own today. Currently my favorite ads are for motorcyles, especially BSA, Triumph and other British bikes, but I still enjoy ads for a variety of vehicles. I am fortunate enough to own a 1964 BSA and a late model Triumph, so I seem to have more ads in my collection for these than anything else, though I tend to want to hoard these! I do want to thank you for purchasing from me and I hope that I exceed your expectations in both the service I provide, and in the quality of the article or ad that you purchase. I also would like to invite you to check out my blog at www.blueridgerider.com where you can read more about my motorcycling adventures. Again, I appreciate your business and thank you for your interest in Blue Ridge Vintage Ads.
