Welcome to my ebay About me page. I buy and sell about equally - I'm not a dealer. Mostly I'm interested in saxophones and microphones but use ebay for all kinds of things. I'm currently selling a few things off hoping to raise money for APEC

Saxophones
I always describe items as accurately and honestly as possible, although I like to err on the side of caution. Obviously you always take a risk when buying a saxophone or a mouthpiece without trying it first to see if it suits you.

On the other hand that risk is usually worth taking as you get them much cheaper at auction than if you go into a shop to try them out.

After shipping there may be a little setting up and adjustment that needs doing - vibrations of transit can sometimes make screws work loose or even make pads that appear to be well glued can shake loose. This applies to brand new saxes as well as second hand.

About that one piece of negative feedback

I actually went to pick up this saxophone as it was quite close. When I got there I was horrified to find that rather than being "almost immaculate " as described, it was in very very poor shape, physically damaged (irrepairable) and bits actually fell off in my hands so I didn't even make an offer, I politelly pointed out the problems but the seller knew nothing about saxophones and was rather rude. I had taken a risk on a seller with no feedback - I probably won't do that again. The person has now deregistered from ebay.
