Petronius Arbiter II Ancient and World Coins


Most of the people in my family have been long-time collectors, and sometime part-time dealers, of antiques and other collectible items, so I'm following in a long tradition. Combine that with a passionate interest in world history and anthropology, and you have me. The timeless is, and was, and is evermore. Touch the past, and you touch something of today, and tomorrow.

In my early years, I began collecting US coins and stereoscope cards; as I grew older, my interests moved on to Southwestern art, and then to the coins and artefacts of the ancient world. My father lived to be almost 89. His mind remained active to the last day of his life, and he was still making new friends in the last year of his life. There's so much to learn and to share. This is exciting. This keeps me going.
