Celebrating 10 years in our Huntington NY store location, The Pianotek Company offers a combined 100 years of piano knowledge and expertise. The Pianotek Company provides more affordable, quality new and used pianos including Yamaha, Mason and Hamlin, Kawai, Story and Clark. Steinway and more while also offering flawless restoration, repair and tuning services. We also offer a full line of quality piano benches, piano lamps, pianos covers, damppchaser humidity control systems, QRS pianomation player systems and more. References are always available.

The Pianotek Company proudly serves the entire Half Hollow Hills school district of Dix Hills NY, The Huntington Center for Performing Arts, The Huntington Arts Council and historical Saint John's Episcopal Church of Huntington who are among our many satisfied customers. We are very conveniently located at 1973 New York Avenue in Huntington Station , N.Y. near Exit 40 of the Northern State Parkway and Exit 48 of the Long Island Expressway just 25 minutes from the NYC border. Our pianos are available for your examination 7 days a week. We welcome your piano teacher or tuner to be involved. Our normal business hours are Tuesday-Friday from 12-5pm and Saturday from 11-6pm. All other times including Sunday's Monday's and evenings are by appointment only so please contact us sufficiently in advance at 631-547-1078 or e-mail pianotek@optonline.net. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Pay Pal and personal checks.Our website pianotek .com is curently being revised.ABOUT THE OWNER
Dennis Pereca began his career on the piano at the age of 7 years old studying popular and classical music influenced particularly by writers and composers such as Frederic Chopin, Scott Joplin,
Aaron Copeland, Leonard Bernstein, Randy Newman and Lennon/McCartney.
By the time he was 19 he was signed to Warner Bros and later Capital records. Eventually signed to the prestigious William Morris Agency he subsequently performed or appeared with such artists as the Bee Gees, Melanie, Sha Na Na, Livingston Taylor, Doc Watson, Odetta, Janis Ian,
Janey Street, Eric Wiesberg and Richie Havens. His music and arrangements have been performed by Melanie, Donna Fargo, Janey Street and Janis Ian on her grammy award winning album "Between the Lines" and for the hit television series "Eight is Enough." Always having had a fascination with exacty how pianos functioned he began to study repair and restoration under Kalman Dietrich of Dietrich PIano in NYC and later establishing The PIanotek Company. |
