Hello! Thanks for checking out my About Me page! My name is Mary Ann. I am a former third grade teacher that decided to stay home after my maternity leave was over. (Did I mention I had another baby during that leave?) Although hanging out with my 5.5 year old son and 4 year old daughter is a blast, I decided that I wanted to do something while I was at home, I just didn't know WHAT until I started looking for a bracelet for my daughter for her christening....
I realized very quickly that there is not much in department stores in the way of baby jewelry...and that much of it contains lead! Then I found someone that made the sweetest infant name bracelets of sterling silver and Swarovski crystals. I ordered one and when it arrived, I loved it, but I immediately thought, "I can make this!". It took me FOREVER, but I eventually taught myself the skills I needed, came across wholesalers I love to work with, AND started selling to upscale retail stores in the northeast!
I am proud to have been the first person to bring sterling silver hand stamped bangle cuff bracelets to eBay. I have been creating and selling them here for almost a year. My cuffs have been featured on popular sites such as Swanky Moms and Cool Mom Picks. Often duplicated but never replicated, you can be sure you are buying the best with pink*papillon!
I also hand-knot beautiful freshwater pearls on silk cord for girls or all ages. The art of hand-knotting pearls is something that I wanted to learn for a long time. I have a wonderful supplier of beautiful pearls from Hong Kong and I am very happy to be able to offer them at an affordable price!
 
I create all of my jewels in my home studio. I use only the highest quality sterling silver beads & findings, freshwater pearls, Czech glass beads, hamdemade lamp work & polymer clay beads, & gemstones. Although much love and care goes into creating each piece, my jewels are not indestructable. Please always supervise children under 3 when they wear their jewels. Please remember to remove the jewels before sleeping!
