Nieto Artwork
"Fancy Dancer"


I bought my first serigraph of Nieto's back in 1980 at Savage Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona.  From that point I was hooked and have many of his pieces on my walls and these first ones were ones that were more graphic and not produced from a painting, but from cut out paper originals.  I have many early articles and tear-sheets from magazines that are from that time period. Some of his first shows were in Dallas, TX, which I attended. At the time Nieto was working for Steak & Ale restaurant as a graphic designer and a gallery saw his work and financed his first serigraphs which I own.  Lots of time has passed since then and I have been to many of his galleries across the country as I am such a big fan. One of the best galleries that shows his serigraphs as well as original painting is Ventana Fine Art in Santa Fe, NM. His work is tremendous and always has been, even since his early days.

As a result of my liking for his work I was inspired in the 80's to paint and produce serigraphs of my own and have done so ever since which have his influence. I hope you look at all my listings- I have John Nieto's best work available as well as the more common pieces. It is all great work, so no matter what you like they are all worth having! All the art I am selling is in mint condition, never displayed.  This is the exact same quality that galleries sell.  They come with the original COAs.
