Hello! Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my artwork! To
start I will tell you about my recent passion...ATC!
After discovering this genre by a pure fluke, I have fallen in love
with the whole concept and have found this to be both
addicting and therapuetic! Having an insatiable creative appetite, and
the handicap of becoming easily bored with the
same old, same old, I have discovered that ATC cards have endless
possibilities. My subject matter may have a consistent
theme or it may run wild to fit my current mood (moods...). I feel that
I am just starting to tap into my creativity in this media
and look forward to what the future brings.
Please take the time to take a peek at them
and let me know what you think. I would love to hear from others in
the art world who can relate to what I am trying to convey.
Sometimes I curse this creative brain in my head and other times I
praise it...it can be quite perplexing and I find that putting
my mind into my work is the best therapy I have. Until I can get my web
site up I will give a little background on myself...I have
been an artist since birth. There are not enough types of media out
there to fulfill my creative appetite. I draw, paint, sculpt,
photograph, sew, blend, meld, mix, design, create, weld, cut, solder,
bake, shape, mold, decorate, blend, observe, appreciate,
criticize, review, write, listen, and read art every day. My whole
family has something creative going on nearly all of the time.
My husband is an art director for his company, my oldest son is a
gifted song writer and musician and starting to record with
his band, my younger son is an actor who has been on many commercials
and several art films, and my youngest daughter is
just beginning to realize what she has inherited from us all. Needless
to say, our household runs a little askew from what may
be considered mainstream and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Portal Publications - Greeting card that has
been selling for 8 years!
Although my current passion is mixed media, I am also a photographer and
I have had many of my images published by national companies for greeting cards,
art prints, enclosure cards, calendars, magazine covers,
editorial content, catalogs, retail promotions and more. I am currently
represented by a stock photo agency and have many images
available for licensing purposes by a fine art company. Anyone who
would like to know more may feel free to send me a message
as I don't want to bore you with all of the details.
