the Pitch For Kids Foundation:
The foundation was established by the Hudson Valley Renegades in 1995
The foundation is committed to giving back to the Hudson
Valley region, raising money through special events throughout the year that is then given to
groups with a focus on making a difference for kids in the area
During the 2004 season,
the Renegades donated over
$35,000 to local children and family initiatives through the Pitch For Kids
Foundation

Some facts about the Hudson Valley Renegades:
The 2004 Renegades finished just 1.5 games out of the wild card spot with a 39-33 record
They led the league with a Team ERA of 2.99
John Jaso was named NY-Penn League Player of the month in July, and was named to the
All-League Team as a catcher
Jarrad Lavergne led the team in ERA, and was named Pitcher of the Week in August
Jon Barratt was named one of the Top 20 Prospects in the NY-Penn League by Baseball
America
The team is part of the New York Penn League "A Ball" and is affiliated with the Tampa Bay
Devil Rays (First Year - 1996)
They play at Dutchess Stadium - Fishkill, NY with a capacity 4,494 fans
