Ever since I listed my very first sculpture on ebay, in 2000, I've tried to offer not only original hand
sculpted work, but also unique pieces. If you own a pixiwillow one of a kind, you have my promise that it will not be purposely duplicated by me. I have been asked many times by collectors if I will repeat previous works, and I have always felt the necessity to turn away such requests. Even though I always sculpt each piece entirely by hand, I think originality of theme and design is also an important factor in defining a work as a one of a kind. This is simply a personal conviction of mine and many other like minded artisans. I do not like repeating themes, unless there is a very obvious difference in the concept. Although it's not always possible to keep from repeating ideas to some extent, I will always do my best to keep new work looking as fresh and unique as possible. At some point in the future, though,I hope to eventually be creating some small limited edition works. These pieces will be sold as such, even though they will most likely still be hand sculpted, and not cast or pulled from a mold. I'm doing this in an attempt to make my work more affordable for a wider range of collectors. I would love to hear from you if you have any questions or comments.
