Images by Patti Photographs Welcome to Images by Patti Photographs. My name is Patti Riley and I am a part time landscape photographer. I grew up in Southern California, but have spent the last 12 years living in the Nashville area with my husband and three children. I have a B.S. in psychology and a M.A. in experimental social psychology. I am an ajunct psychology professor. While I love the academic challenges of social psychology, my artistic passion is photography. I have always loved taking photos, but became more serious about it a few years ago. I would hang my photos all over my house and give them to family and friends as gifts. People seemed to like my photos, so in May of 2003 I created Images by Patti Photographs. I set up shop on Ebay and have been enjoying my new home business and the interaction and feedback I get from my customers.   My personal philosophy on photography is that there are wonderful "images" all over the place just waiting to be captured. I try to pick one of these "images" out of the landscape and make it the subject of my photos, hence the name Images by Patti Photographs. I think photographs can create moods, emotions and feelings and well as bringing back memories of moments in time. I like both black and white photos and color photos, but I am particularly fond of black and white. There is something mysterious, moody and classic about black and white photos. The cameras I use to take my photos are a Canon 5D and Canon Digital Rebel XT.  Some of my older photos were take with Minolta Film Cameras.  I also have a Canon Digital Rebel XT that has been converted to take only Infrared photographs. I have the large majority of my smaller 4x6 photos printed by an outside printer, but I typically print all of the larger size photographs myself.  I use an Epson R2400 printer which is considered to be the finest professional printer on the market.  I use Epson professional photographic papers and Illford Gallery Papers with Epson Ultra Chrome inks.  This combination of professional papers and inks gives you a quality print that will last one hundred years plus. My photographs are in many many private homes throughout the U.S. I also have photogrpahs in homes in England, Canada, Germany, Poland, Austrailia and many other countries. My photographs have decorated many law offices and private business, model homes, as well as restaurants in Pensicola, Oregon, Montana and South Africa. I have also had a photographs used for the playbill and publicity for a play in Hollywood California. I have had photographs published in two books: Barns of Tennessee and Best of Photography Annual. I believe that customer satisfaction is the most important feature of a business. While I have a small business, I take customer satisfaction seriously. I continue to learn about good business techniques and try to continually improve my Ebay listings and store.
