Hello. My name is Rich and thank you for visiting. I've been an Ebay member since 1999 and I've really enjoyed slowly selling my personal vinyl record collecton. I've had the great pleasure of meeting so many fine people here on Ebay, so I hope this can continue for many more years. I like many kinds of music but my favorite band hasn't changed since 1977. The Clash and Joe Strummer remain number 1 with me; with Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers a close second! Who was better in concert? Well; they were both great, but as to who was better? I'd say it depended on Thunders intoxication level! Anyway...thank you again to everyone who's bought from me and conversed with me over the years and thanx for the time and interest in coming to learn a bit about me. Now back to the important stuff. On this page; I'll outline all of my American and world wide shipping costs; plus I'll put my grading scale for both the vinyl and the jackets. I playgrade all or parts of every record I sell, so the visual grade is described here, but how a record playgrades is really the more important factor I use in grading vinyl.
U.S.A. SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS: Media Mail S & H is $4.00 for 1 record. For U.S. orders, each record won after the first winner, adds 50 cents for media mail shipping, so 2 records is $4.50, 3 records is $5.00 and 4 records is $5.50. Winning 5 records to 9 records is a discounted $6.00 and for U.S. buyers who win between 10 and 20 records; I charge a discounted flat rate of $9.00. I live in New York and media mail usually takes about 3-9 days to most parts of America. Ocassionally media mail can take 2-3 weeks to the states of Texas, Arizona and California, but most of the time it's no more than 7-10 days. For Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico I only offer priority which cost $9 for 1 record and $1.25 for each additional.

For buyers who do not live in the U.S., I ship air mail. Air mail to most part of the world is very fast and takes about 5-10 days. Italy is very slow and takes anywhere from 2-4 months. Please buy with confidence, as I've sold on Ebay since 1999 and all of my orders have arrived safely.
CANADA: First class air mail international for 1 record to Canada is $8.00. For combined shipping savings, each record won after the first winner adds $2.50 a record, so 2 records won, cost $10.50, 3 records won cost $13.00, 4 records won cost $15.50, etc. .
MEXICO: First class air mail international for 1 record to Mexico is $11.50. For combined shipping savings to Mexico, each record won after the first winner adds $2.50 a record, so 2 records won cost $14.00, 3 records won cost $16.50. 4 records won is $19, etc
JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, ASIA, EUROPE, AFRICA, SOUTH AMERICA: First class air mail international for 1 record is $15.00. For combined shipping savings, each record won after the first winner adds $3.00 a record, so 2 records won, cost $18.00, 3 records won cost $21.00, 4 records won cost $24.00, etc
ITALY: Unfortunately, I no longer ship to Italy because Italy packages take 2-3 months to arrive. All other countries take about 1-2 weeks. PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR NON-U.S.A. BUYERS: Paypal.

Please note that all of my records are original U.S. first pressings; unless noted differently; where I write the record label and label number at the beginning of the description. I've sold primarily vinyl on Ebay since 1999 and my focus has always been honest grading and securing packing. Please feel comfortable buying from me as my full feedback card since 1999 has over 5,000+ positives with just 1 negative. For grading I use a bright light to inspect each record and look for any possible scratchor mark for a visual grade. I also play grade all or parts of every record I sell. I rarely use pictures which bothers some buyers, but I've found that taking pictures is a lot of work and very time consuming and I've decided that it's really a better use of my time to play grade all the records I auction off. I simply don't have time to do both and I've decided that how a record sounds is more important than how a jacket looks. Since I do not do pictures; I'm very conservative with my jacket grading. Here's the grading scale that I use.
RECORD GRADING
SEALED: Still brand new and factory sealed
MINT: The record will not be sealed, but it will still look brand new and unplayed.
NEAR MINT: The record will be very clean and shiny, with no scratches or marks
VG++: The record will very clean and shiny, with just a couple of very light scratches or very light marks, that will not affect the play. The record will play very well.
VG+: The record will be shiny with some light scratches. The record will play well, with either no background noise; or with just a bit of light background noise. Usually the light background noise would be on quieter parts or at the start or end of a song
VG: The record will probably have lost some shine and it will have some scratches or scuffs. The record will play with some background noise on parts, butit won't skip and will be fairly enjoyable
G+: The record will have more scratches and marks than VG and will play with more background noise. It won't skip but will play with noticeable background noise on parts
G or Fair: The record will play worse than G+, but also should not skip. I don't sell many records graded G+, G or fair. I usually only list G+, G or fair graded vinyl when it's a very rare record
JACKET GRADING
SEALED: Still factory sealed
NEAR MINT: The jacket will have no flaws. It will have no corner wear, no cover wear/ringwear, no writing, no seam splits and no cut outs, drill holes or cut corners. The jacket might or might not be in shrinkwrap.
VG++: The jacket will be just a notch under near mint with 1 or 2 very minor flaws. Perhaps a bit of corner wear or just a bit of very light cover wear or ringwear. A VG++ jacket won't have a cut out or even a small seam split.
VG+: The jacket will be in nice shape, with some corner wear andmaybe some light cover wear or light ringwear. A VG+ jacket might have a cut out or a drill hole, but overall; a very nice jacket
VG: The jacket will have more noticeable flaws with heavier cover wear or ringwear, plus maybe a small seam split in the 3 or 4 inch range and maybe a name written in small letters near a corner.
G+: The jacket will have even more flaws with maybe a crease, some surface scrapes, more writing and larger seam splits; with heavier cover wear
G: Even worse than G+ but still useable
fair: Many flaws and only used if vinyl is VG++ or better or if record is very rare.
