Our company was started primarily for the installation of Solar Photovoltaic Systems for the homeowner. We saw the ever-increasing effects of global warming and wanted to take a proactive approach to the problem by offering homeowners a way to replace all or a portion of their electricity usage with Solar Photovoltaic Systems, while reducing their personal net carbon emissions. We have branched out and will soon be offering a number of solutions for your home and lifestyle. In addition to Photovoltaics we soon will be offering Solar Heat, and Hot Water systems, a line of On Demand Hot Water Heaters, and an Electric Car that when combined with a Photovoltaic Charging System will have absolutely no emissions of any kind. We are dedicated to our quest as you can see from our mission statement below.

What is a Photovoltaic (PV) System? The major component of a PV system is the photovoltaic solar panel, hence the acronym PV. Any numbers of solar panels are connected together to complete a solar array. The solar array can have varying output wattage depending on the size and output of each panel, and the number of panels used in the array. All of these variables can be customized to meet the homeowner specific needs, taking in to consideration his or her consumption needs, the percentage of the utility bill they want to replace and the amount of southern exposed roof space or other suitable area available. In order to make the DC power produced by the PV array usable in your home, a device called an inverter is required to convert the DC (direct current) to AC (alternating current) which is used by all the appliances and lighting in your home now. The Inverter also ties your system to the utility company, and regulates when and how power is drawn from or sold back to the utility grid. In some cases homeowners use DC lighting fixtures and buy new DC powered appliances, but this is not usually practical for the average homeowner. Inverters are one of the most expensive components of the system and have a predetermined capacity, so the PV system must be designed with this in mind to create the most economical investment.

Solectric Solutions is in business foremost to educate about, promote, and implement alternative energy solutions for the general public. We realize the impact of fossil fuels on our world, as well as the increasing dependence that our country has on foreign sources of oil. We are dedicated to helping push this country in the direction  that it needs to go. We want to enable the alternative energy industry in changing the perceptions and expectations of the mainstream public. Whether you are Liberal or Conservative this should be the first problem that you are concerned with because all other problems have no meaning if we loose the world, as we know it. After all, the root word of Conservatism is Conserve. What better way to demonstrate Conservatism than through conservation of our natural resources and environment? We believe quite simply, that Global Warming is real and are bound and determined to do something about it.

We want to offer our customers real solutions for today energy problems, as well as showcase new viable alternatives. We need the public to invest in these alternatives for all of our well being. If you the public, do not invest your money in new technologies that offer an alternative to fossil fuels, rather than continuing to invest in the same old carbon emitting technologies we are used to, then we will have all lost the battle. We will pledge to offer products that fight that battle. Some will have limitations at first but if you are committed to reducing our net carbon output then you will have the forethought to change how you think about transportation, and consumption and will help fuel the change by investing your dolars in technologies that protect your children future. We do not have to enter the Stone Age again in order to do this; we just need to alter our expectations a little.

We are a for profit company, and must turn a profit in order that we may exist. We assure you that profit is not our motivation. We have a vision that includes such things as independence from foreign sources of energy, offering stable and living wage employment for those here at home, and making alternative energies a viable part of our daily lives.  To quote some very intelligent and forward thinking men of the past, e hold these truths to be self evident
