This is a recent picture of my husband Chuck and me in my office!

Hi! I’m Pat Merrell, the owner of SEW-ART INTERNATIONAL. Welcome to my store! I’m honored that you want to know more about Sew-Art.
Sew-Art International specializes in threads and supplies for Machine Embroidery and Quilting. I am particularly interested in Free-motion embroidery and quilting.
My husband Chuck and I have been in business with the Sew-Art International name since 1983. But I first learned Free-Motion Machine Embroidery in the 1960s from Lucille Graham, a wonderful pioneer in the art. Lucille happened to be my sister-in-law, but she was also a close friend and advisor. I worked closely with her for many years.

Many of our products carry our own brand name. And, as you might expect, we are very particular of the quality of the items we put our name on. We are just as meticulous about the products from other manufacturers that we sell.

Invisible Nylon thread is available in both 1500 yards and 3000 yard mini-cones.

We sell a lot of wonderful stuff, but probably the most popular item is our INVISIBLE NYLON THREAD!
Invisible Nylon is a very thin (.004 diameter) Monofilament Nylon thread that is used in quilting, machine applique, Serger techniques, sewing, couching and multiple other techniques. It literally disappears into the fabric. It is available in both clear and smoke.
