Janet Morante is the founder of Party Over Here!
a subsidiary to the Ultimate Party Network She earned a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Business Administration, with a focus in Marketing.
Her party creativity and expertise has been utilized for many personal events
as well as for family and friends.
Janet's first tedious coordinated event was for her graduation from California State University Long Beach. Many months were spent preparing for the event, which included searching for a location, caterer, DJ & Karaoke rental and photographer while staying within a limited budget. This proved to be extremely difficult and time consuming, especially since all existing online party directories did not cater to her area. These directories consisted of various vendors inconveniently located around the entire US. This experience was the inspiration behind creating the Ultimate Party Network/font>.
Janet has since coordinated other events, such as a wedding reception, which she was also the Master of Ceremonies and introduced the bride, groom and entourage. She also coordinated her 10 Year High School Reunion, which included contacting alumni and creating a 'Where are They Now?' Reunion Booklet. She was again the Master of Ceremonies and presented prizes for 'Classmate with the Most Unique Occupation', 'Most Changed', 'Most Children' and others. The event had a great turn out with over 200 attendees including their spouse or significant other.
The largest personal venue she coordinated was for her 30th birthday, which took place at the Huntington State Beach. The theme of the party was a 'Potluck Luau Bonfire' and also a 'Promotional Party' launching the Ultimate Party Network/font>. She coordinated three dance routines with the help of 6 other friends - Blue Hawaii, Tiny Bubbles, and Wipe Out. This was coordinated within a six month period and was a complete success. Approximately 200 guests were in attendance to help celebrate the occasion. The food and festivities included a Roasted Kalua Pig, a Tiki Mask Pita for the kids and prizes handed out for the winners of the Luau Contests: 'Best Hawaiian Outfit', 'Best Booty Shaker', and 'Limbo Contest.' She received compliments from many of her guests who raved, 'Your party was SO MUCH FUN!'
Janet continues to find ways to celebrate, and transitioned away from making Baby Shower Diaper Cakes and has a new hobby with selling Bachelorette Party Supplies. This new fun passion came after coordinating her friend's bachelorette party and again had such a difficult time finding fun items to fit within a budget. She expands her exposure by selling both her Candy Wrapper/Balloons and Bachelorette Supplies through two ebay stores. She is an extremely busy individual, but finds this such a fun 'extra income' job aside from her full time employment. She enjoys sharing her creativity with others, but her true passion remains to one day open a Party Supply Store within Orange County, California which will offer these gifts, supplies and more.
Her favorite motto is, "Life is too short not to have fun and celebrate!"
