Most items listed are from my own collection (unless otherwise noted in the item description). I am very particular about taking care of my items so you will not get scratched, beat-up, dog-eared, or ratted items that were owned solely by me. I sell mostly used DVDs, laserdiscs, and CDs but never sell bootlegs or burnt items. Everything I sell is original from the manufacturer. If I sell a legal import, it will be noted in the item description. To be sure of an item's condition, contact me to recheck the item before placing an order. PRICES My prices may be higher than other sellers' but you can buy with confidence that what you get will be in good condition (again, unless otherwise noted in the item description). FULFILLING YOUR ORDER NOTE (11/6/09): I have been receiving Half.com e-mails into my Inbox approximately 8 hours after the timestamp. Half.com gives sellers up to three (3) business days (M-F only) to ship an order. Because I am not a full-time seller, it may take that long to ship your order. Sometimes, I can ship out on the next day after your order is placed. On rare occasions, I can ship same day. USPS does ship out on Saturdays so if I am able to ship out on Saturdays, I will do so. I will also indicate the order was shipped after it's been sent (not before). Remember that I live in Hawaii, the "last" time zone in the United States. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS & OTHER INFORMATION
I will only ship to the address that Half.com provides to me. If you would like it shipped to another address, please change it from within your account before you place your order. Before shipping an order, I check multiple online databases (including USPS's) to confirm your shipping address. On some occasions, a buyer's shipping address does not appear in these databases. If this occurs, I will e-mail you at least everyday to ask you to respond with your correct shipping address. A copy will be sent to your e-mail address and to your My eBay Message Inbox. As a seller, I want to make sure that I send your order to the right address and if it is not in the USPS database, I will not ship it out, even though you know the address you submitted is accurate. If your order has Delivery Confirmation assigned to it and it reaches the shipping address supplied by my buyer, the transaction is done. I will try to remember to send you the tracking number in my courtesy e-mail (send me a reminder if you do not receive it). If you do not receive your order after it has been confirmed by USPS's Track & Confirm (www.usps.com/trackandconfirm.htm), please question your neighbors, postal carrier, or Postmaster. If your package does not arrive within the time frame designated by USPS, wait a little longer and if it's been more than one week, I can request an investigation. With your Delivery Confirmation number, you can check USPS.com's website to see that your order DID leave Honolulu, so as far as my obligations and responsibilities are, I have fulfilled them and any negative feedback is not warranted. I will definitely issue you a refund if the package does not reach you, but I will hope that if it eventually reaches you, you will contact me and resend payment. During Tax Time and Holiday Seasons, shipping times may slow down. So for example, if you are ordering something close to mid-April and/or between November 25 and December 25, expect some longer shipping times. SHIPPING METHODS
USPS Priority Mail shipments include a free Delivery Confirmation number e-mailed to you. PACKAGING YOUR ORDER Your order will be packed securely in a bubble wrap envelope, a Priority Mail Flat-Rate Envelope/Box (if your order fits), or a thick box (for laserdisc orders only). The envelope or box will not indicate the content inside. It will have a return address from "Half.com: Poidoggy," your shipping address, and "Handle With Care" on the front. COMMUNICATION I will contact my buyers to let them know when I will ship their order as a professional courtesy. Communication is very important to any business transaction so rather than making a buyer wait until they get their order, I will let them know when the order is shipped so they can estimate its arrival. In my courtesy message to you after the item has shipped, it says I would be grateful if you would post positive feedback if you are satisfied. This has nothing to do with who posts feedback first. See "Feedback" section below for details. Since Half.com has removed the Pre-Transaction Question feature, if you want to ask me about a title I'm listing, click on my Feedback Score and click on the "Contact Member" button. CONCERNS, PROBLEMS & RETURNS If the item is damaged, it is probably due to rough handling by the Postal Service. I have sold over 500 items on Half.com using the same type of bubble mailer and almost all of them have been received in great condition. On the few instances that the item was damaged, it was not because of me; I will not ship damaged discs. Unless I say in my description that the case or insert is damaged, it is not when shipped. I have no control over the USPS's way of handling packages. I do apologize for the inconvenience if this happens to you. If there are problems with either your order, the transaction, or both, please do the following:
If your item is found to have a defect as you described, I will refund your return postage, cost of mailer, and Delivery Confirmation via PayPal because Half.com only allows refunds of the original cost plus return shipping. Since their return shipping refund is a specific amount and may not reflect what you paid, I will use PayPal to refund you your exact cost of returning the order. If you do not have or want a PayPal account, I will only refund you your cost of order and Half.com's return shipping amount. E-mailing me your USPS Delivery Confirmation number is vital because I do not check my PO Box everyday so USPS will let me know by e-mail (I have to give them your number) when your return arrives. FEEDBACK Feedback should be based on the transaction and the item(s) ordered, not on content of the CD, DVD, or Laserdisc. Please do not automatically leave negative or neutral feedback just because something went wrong. Exhaust all other options first. Errors can happen and it is not fair to me to punish me until I have tried to remedy the situation. I usually check e-mail once a day and if I do not respond right away, there should be a good reason for it. I am not a seller who demands that buyers give me feedback first before I give them feedback. I will give you feedback based on your successful payment. It can take up to 24 hours before the ability for me to give feedback to a buyer appears on my account (and I assume the same is true for buyers), so if you don't get feedback right away from me, it's not done on purpose. Please also notice that Half.com does not allow sellers to give buyers negative feedback. I want to express my gratitude and say, "Thanks" and "You're Welcome!" here in advance that you are happy with your order! This was a lot to read so I appreciate you taking the time to read it.
