Hello & welcome to my “ME” page! I love to collect china and vintage needlework, and have been shopping on eBay for these for several years. Like many collectors, I have accumulated more than I can realistically use or display. It seems a shame to pack these lovely things away & not enjoy them! I also enjoy rescuing and restoring vintage linens. I don’t consider myself to be an expert at this, but it is amazing how proper laundering and stain removal will make an old dingy piece look beautiful again! This has become a hobby for me, and I started selling some of these items on eBay beginning in the fall of 2003.

With a few exceptions, my linens have been carefully laundered (usually by hand), treated for spots and stains, and then ironed. Defects, including residual spots, holes and damaged fibers, are carefully noted in my listings. I’m sure most of you have purchased an item with a “tiny” hole, “faint” stain or “spot that will come out with laundering” only to find something entirely different when you open the package! I don’t use chlorine bleach since it tends to weaken the fibers in old textiles. I also don’t use starch or sizing on my items as they should never be stored unless these have been removed. I don’t know if a customer is planning to use an item right away or not, so I leave the starching up to them.
