I thought I would put this together so that you sellers would know a little more about me.
My Personal Profile
I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended public schools there. My interests included Debate, Speech, Orchestra (I played the Cello), and computers. When I was a Senior in High School, I wrote a system for a handicapped 10 year old girl in my school district. The system allowed her to use an Apple II with a voice synthesizer to speak for her (in a girl's voice, no less). In May of 1983, this was quite a wonderful thing for this girl who could not speak for herself. After my high school graduation in 1983, I attended Mankato State University and graduated in June of 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business Administration. I have been working in Information Technology ever since -- mostly in the telecommunications industry. For the last 8 years -- I have been working for a large Wireless carrier in the Seattle area as a Senior IT Manager. When I am not taking my children to basketball, soccer, and karate -- I enjoy scuba diving. I have been to the Fiji Islands twice. I'm planning on going to Australia and the Cocos Islands next (love those hammerhead sharks). |
