Hi There, I'm Posada - Welcome to My About Me Page! DISCOVERING EBAY! When I discovered ebay I thought I was in heaven! Shopping from home for whatever you needed (and mostly what you didn't need but absolutely had to have!). I didn't have to get into the car or fight the crowds - it was Nirvana! I bought for a year until I decided that, gee, maybe I could do this too. So I looked in my closet and listed a few items. Then I listed a few more. And I sold them! DISCOVERING ME! I have always loved to shop - it's the thrill of the hunt that gives me pleasure. I realized that I could indulge my passion and find things that I love, regardless if they were a size 4 or a size 24, and list them on ebay and make someone else happy. I've been a full-time seller on ebay for over eight years now and it is the best thing I could have done for myself. No more nylons. No more heels. No more suits. At the young age of 62 I am finally enjoying my full time job! My two boys (grown and out on their own) are thrilled with Mom's career. And so is Mom. I only list things that I would love to have myself. My descriptions are detailed and honest - if there is a flaw, I state it. Returns will be granted if an auction item is misrepresented in the description. Please ask any questions before you bid. I am not perfect and things do slip through - if there is a problem please email me and I will make it right. Your satisfaction is the most important part of my business! MEASURING CLOTHING Bust or Chest - measured with the garment lying flat and unstretched from underarm to underarm and then doubled. Waist - measured with the garment lying flat straight across the waist and or waistband and then doubled. Hips - measured at the widest part of the garment from 7" to 10" below the waist and then doubled. Hem - measured flat at the hem of the garment and then doubled. Rise - measured in front from the top of the waistband to the crotch seam. Sleeve Length - measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. Shoulders - measured from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the front. Length - measured from the center of the shoulder seam in front to the hem. I ship items under 13 ounces by first class mail and those over 13 ounces by Priority Mail in tyvek envelopes which saves on shipping. Please remember that those items shipped first class are cheaper to ship and also TAKE LONGER to arrive. All packages are shipped the day after and sometimes the day of payment. I love to give feedback and will do so immediately upon hearing that the item arrived safely and that you are pleased. Jan My oldest son Travis flew to Spain on May 4, 2009 to begin his world tour - bartending, taking pictures, writing stories and teaching. He spent four months in Ibiza photographing the clubs and the parasailing boats. After a two week holiday in Ireland and London he is now in Japan where he hopes to teach English for a a year. Travis did get the job in Japan and will begin teaching at the end of November. He will be in Ina, Nagano Prefecture which is considered the "Swiss Alps" of Japan. He is very excited and plans on being fluent in Japanese when his teaching year is completed. We have a Skype teleconference every two weeks or so to keep up to date which is wonderful! Here is a picture of him in Japan on September 26th. My youngest son Ryan is career Air Force. He and his wife, Maria, had their first child (and my first grandchild), Cayden Alex Ball, on August 4th, 2008. Ryan was in Iraq when Cayden was born and met him for the first time on October 5th when he returned from his deployment. Here is a picture of Ryan and Cayden with Maria in the background the morning the plane landed at Hill AFB. And here is a picture of Ryan, Maria and Cayden with Cayden at 5 months old! I went to Utah to celebrate Cayden's first birthday. Here are a couple of pictures - can you tell that I think he is wonderful?!!! Here is a picture of my boys at Thanksgiving in 2007 - the first time we had all been together in two years. This is my roommate - my 14 year old cat named Chloe.
