What's

Linocuts
I experiment with different block printing techniques and designs to see
what I can come up with. My materials of choice are Dick
Blick Golden Cut. I love the smell of fresh linoleum in the morning! |
Sock
Monkeys
I painted my first sock monkey in July of 2001. He was originally part of
a series of paintings depicting children's toys I was working on that included
a kewpie doll and a jack in the box. From there Sock Monkey evolved into
a series of linocuts and finally into the brightly colored digital paintings
you see today. |
Dogs
The dog series started with a Boston Terrier linocut I created in March
of 2002. In November 2002 Boston Terrier made a special guest appearance
in one of my digital paintings with Sock Monkey and the series took off
from there! I am always adding different dog breeds to the series so check
back if you don't see your favorite. |
Paintings
While I spend a lot of my time working on my linocuts and digital paintings
there is still something to be said for putting brush to canvas or paper.
I enjoy working in acrylic or watercolor and sometimes add collage elements
just for good measure. |
