About the artist:

Angela Moulton has been painting and selling art for 5 years.  Originally from Chicago, Angela married and moved to the beautiful bitteroot mountains 2 years ago.  Pratt Creek is a 1,500 acre cattle ranch surrounded by national forest and just 9 miles from the Montana border in Salmon, Idaho.

Salmon is known for world-class rafting and fishing as well as being three hours from Yellowstone National Park. 

Inspired by the beauty around her, Angela paints and creates landscapes, botanicals, animal paintings.  She works mainly in oils, but also watercolor, fabric art, and wood sculpture with a folk art feeling.

Working in Chicago in the Options Trading industry, and growing up in the city of good and well-educated parents, Angela grew up accustomed to the finer things in life:  great restaurants, designer clothes and furnishings.  But Angela has also experienced the pain of divorce, the loss of children through miscarriages, and many other trials.  Angela now strives to find beauty in the simple things of life, the mundane, the unsung hero, dandelions and clover vs. orchids and roses --and she adores roses.  As an artist, Angela's mission is to celebrate the simple:  the dried weed, the loving tabby cat, the ugly ducklings that some may never notice.
