Back to previous page  Step Back In Time with PrimitiveHope,etc. About one year ago I decided retirement sounded very nice.  After 30 years of working in a manufacturing company as the benefits manager I was ready for a new chapter in my life.  My husband felt the same way.  He had been a hair stylist for about 35 years and was becoming quite burned out.  We have always been very active people and did not want to just fade into the woodwork and become stagnant.  He is a very creative person and loves the out of doors.  He decided to put his creative ability to work and he started making various primitive tools, such as bows, arrows, tomahawks, flutes, canes, arrowheads, knives, etc.  He begins with a tree and works his way to the finished product.  That is where the Primitive part of our business gets its name.    I started collecting anything Coca Cola years ago.  I like antiques and I love to visit antique shops, estate sales, garage sales, flea markets, etc.  For this reason, I have built a good inventory of wonderful STUFF!  That is why I have such a wide variety of merchandise for sale on my site.  I wanted to do something constructive right in my home.
