AUTHENTICITY:
I do not buy, sell or own fake / copied / counterfeit/ knock-off / "inspired-by", etc. items. I am disgusted that such items even exist, and believe the trade of these illegal items supports terrorism.
LISTINGS:
I take more time than most sellers to writing my listings in order to:
1. accurately describe each item, point out any flaw ... no matter how slight
2. provide at least 9 photos; with and without a flash to show detail and depth of color
3. give detailed measurements, rounding to the nearest quarter inch
SHIPPING:
I do not profit from shipping fees.
All US shipments include Insurance and Delivery Confirmation. eBay, the USPS and I all consider your package "delivered" when and where the Delivery Confirmation is scanned. If you have ever suffered mail theft / loss at your address, please provide me with a more secure ship-to address. I will do all I can to from my end to ensure your item arrives safely.
HANDLING FEE: Like many sellers, I add a small handling fee ($0.25-$3, depending on the item) to the cost of postage cover shipping and packing supplies.
PACKAGING: I take the time to "professionally" package each item, with the intention of it arriving in a a better-than-expected condition. I iron or steam each clothing garment, and package with lots of tissue paper. I use bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and bags of air to protect your purchase.
FREQUENCY: I ship daily, and strive to ship your item within 12-24 hours of receiving payment.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
Unlike many sellers, I DO ship internationally!
CUSTOMS Please understand I can not possibly control how long it takes for your country's customs to process your package, nor can I know or control which items and what values are taxed / duty.
Please know that my Paypal Business Account requires me (for liability reasons) to ship international packages through the PayPal Postal application, and your item's description and value are automatically provided, and can not be altered. Please do not ask me to commit International Customs Fraud by asking me to mark your package as a "gift" and/or reduce the value of your shipment - I am unable to do so, AND such a request is actually an eBay account violation on your behalf!
If there is no international shipping cost provided, please contact me before bidding for a shipping quote to your country and advise if you need insurance and online tracking.
SHIPPING TIME: I ship within 1 business day of receiving your payment, but can not control how long it will take you to receive your package. I have sent items that have spent more than a month in customs...
DUTY / TAX: Please realize that your country's duties, taxes, fees, etc are YOUR responsibility. Please educate yourself on your country's import laws and fees.
FRAUD: I will not commit mail or customs fraud, which means I will not mark your item as a "gift" or assign any value other than the winning bid. My shipping account and reputation is crucial to my business.
SHIPPING CLASS: I have had great success shipping in the Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope, cost is $15.95 depending on your country. This is a 6-10 day service (excluding time in customs) and insurance/tracking is not available. For those who require insurance and online tracking, the option is only available (at an additional fee) via standard Priority Mail International.
HANDLING FEE: I charge a $1-$3 handling fee for international packages to cover shipping supplies and my time... shipping internationally requires me reschedule my day in order to:
1. drive to the post office during business hours,
2. wait in line,
3. and sign your package out to you.
FEEDBACK:
I leave my buyers positive feedback AFTER I know they are satisfied with their purchase and my service.
Buyer's positive feedback is reciprocally posted within 12-24 hours or receiving positive feedback, thanks to a "Automatic Feedback Robot" program I use. (please see www.vrane.com)
If this bothers you or you disagree with my policy of a seller leaving feedback last, (like eBay member i*b*m ... who left me negative feedback because I didn't leave him feedback first!) please do not bid.
Me, as a BUYER:
Put simply, I treat sellers how, as a seller, I would like to be treated.
I expect sellers to accurately describe, photograph, and stand behind their items, as I do.
PROBLEM RESOLUTION:
If I receive something with undisclosed flaws or description inconsistencies, (it happens -- we are all human and make mistakes!) I always give the seller the benefit of the doubt and the courtesy of contacting them personally in the hopes of resolving the matter privately.
FEEDBACK:
I quickly leave sellers positive feedback upon receiving my purchases in good order.
I HATE SHIPPING PROFITS!:
My biggest pet peeve about buying on eBay (aside from the existence of counterfeit items on eBay!) is sellers who make a real profit on shipping fees. I totally understand the inclusion of a reasonable handling fee, as I also include. I ship 100-200 items a month and know the postal shipping rates backwards and forwards. When I see an excessive shipping fee, I contact a seller to ask what the fee includes, and if they would be so kind as to quote me a more realistic shipping cost.
