As a SELLER I will give try my best to give you a level of customer service that you would expect in person and also to make sure your E-Bay experience is a pleasant and satisfying one. I am the Queen of E-mail, I usually communicate throughout the Transaction:

#1 "CONGRATULATIONS" to acknowledge the Winning Bid
#2 "PAYMENT RECEIVED" To let you know when I have received payment
#3 "DELIVERY STATUS" Giving the Buyer the date of actual item being sent, sometimes I will send a follow up to check and make sure you have received item (usually after 7 days depending on method of shipment)

AND THIS IS MY FAVORITE

#4 "FEEDBACK FORUM REQUEST" - This is sent once the transaction is complete and I hear from the Buyer that they have received their item and are happy.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not send this e-mail if the Buyer automatically post feedback.

MY PET E-BAY PEEVE I do not appreciate when Buyers get the item and do not let you know they got it....(sometimes the only way we know you get something is when you leave feedback.. imagine how confusing and frustrating it can be when you have NO response at all) I do not understand why some Buyers can not give a Seller the courtesy of "feedback" it's almost insulting to me as a Seller who strives very hard to make sure that your experience with me is a Very Good one.

I received my one and only (so far) negative from a Buyer who didn't like that I "bugged" them about feedback.... this buyer had never left feedback for anyone prior to this transaction but had been on Ebay for nearly 3 years and told me they had several transactions prior to the one with me (at the time I think their feedback rating was like 3 - including mine but none left by the buyer themselves). I refunded the ENTIRE AMOUNT (including shipping and handling) told them to keep the BRAND NEW book and asked them to never bid on my items again, so that is why ALL MY AUCTIONS hence forth reads
