Once upon a time I was an elementry school librarian.  I always loved to read and the idea of sharing favorite stories with kids was a very heady idea.  Especially when I got PAID for doing it!

Now, many years and miles later, I have retired from lots of jobs and careers and have gone back to books for my main hobby.

I started selling on eBay when the motley collection of used books that I had gathered became greater than my storage shelves allowed.  It was sell, give or throw.  Since I had purchased most of the books with hard earned retirement funds, I tried selling them on, gasp, eBay.  Some sold and I was hooked!

    My taste in books is ecclectic with rarity, condition, subject matter and cost figuring into each purchase.  I am learning not only about books, but about their contents as well. 

     I also like 78 rpm phonograph records, not just because I grew up with them, but because they are reminders that the "old days" are gone, but have left their mark on history. 

Why sell books?  Because I like to!
