 Ebay is the latest way to buy what you want/need, especially hard to find items. It use to be flea markets, auctions, and other types of shows where you would find stuff at discount prices. Now it's online auctions and EBAY is King. In order to make it in the business world you have to "go with the flow", so here we are. We offer only FIRST QUALITY licensed sports apparel and the best part is that you guys set the prices. We always have a low starting bid and never a reserve! Unfortunately, many of the jerseys ebay sellers state are authentic and official actually are not. Be very carefull when you are buying them. If a deal seems to good to be true, it probably is. The scenario is the same as a knock-off Rolex watch. How can someone sell a "Rolex" watch on the streets of NYC for $50 when it costs $5000 from an authorized dealer? It looks the same and says "Rolex" also, but it is just a reproduction that someone other then Rolex made. "Fake" or unlicensed jerseys is currently a HUGE problem in the sports business. There are exceptions to the rules, but be sure the jersey has tags(if new) with a hologram on it. Also, be sure the hologram has a item number. All holograms will have it's own number that is specific to that item only, similar to a license plate number. From this number the manufacturer can tell what the item should be, and where and when it was made. Obviously, tags do get broken off accidentally, but if all of a sellers items are missing tags/holograms this should throw up a red flag.
