Who am I?
I'm a stay-at-home mom, writer, and graphic designer who helps to supplement our family income by selling on eBay.
I love to find and auction unique, unusual, and high-quality items. Most of my auctions are for boutique children's clothing and dolls, but I sell a little bit of everything. I am a doll collector and also enjoy all kinds of arts and crafts.
Integrity and honesty are the foundation of my business and my life. I inspect all items carefully and strive to make my photos and descriptions accurate and complete, so you can be confident that what you see in my auctions is what you get.
I work very hard to have 100% customer satisfaction, so if you are ever less than fully satisfied with a purchase, please let me know and I will be happy to work with you to resolve it.

I have a non-smoking and pet-free home (most of my items come from other sources, but if I notice any smell, etc. I will mention it). Special services such as gift wrapping & expedited shipping methods are available for an additional cost.
Shipping policies:
Whenever possible, I set fixed shipping prices in my auctions so you can know exactly how much you will be paying for shipping/handling. I try to be fair in the shipping I charge, and calculate it as accurately as possible.
I ship approximately twice a week, but am usually able to accommodate requests for shipping more often if you need the item right away.
I am happy to combine shipping when possible. The cost will be calculated based on the weight of all items packed together in one parcel.
My general policy in calculating shipping is to figure the cost of postage based on the package's weight, and then round up approximately 50 cents to help cover the cost of packaging materials. I always use delivery confirmation on domestic parcels, and this is included in the cost of shipping.
"Actual shipping" means the cost of postage, delivery confirmation, and any special or unusual packing materials needed (if applicable). If you choose to purchase insurance or other additional services, that will be added to the cost.
International shipping: Flat shipping rates worldwide are included in my auctions, based on actual shipping costs and rounded up approximately 50 cents. All customs forms will be marked "merchandise" and the value will be filled out as the ending auction price (without shipping costs, etc.).
Packaging: I package items carefully in materials appropriate for the item and shipping method. Most clothing items will arrive in a Tyvek-type envelope. Dolls and other easily damaged items will be either double-boxed and/or packed with at least 1/2 inch of padding (i.e. bubble wrap, packing peanuts, etc.) on all sides.
Shipping services can be rough, so I do take extra measures to protect the item in case of a package getting wet or torn in transit. Because it's important that your item arrive safely, I highly recommend purchasing insurance.

Yes, there is a story behind the name.
The name Purple_Kangaroo actually does have a meaning beyond surface level.
When I was going through a difficult and confusing time in my life, I commented to a friend, "I feel like someone handed me a purple kangaroo with no instructions, and I don't know what to do with it."
She replied, "Me too. So let's each take our purple kangaroo to God and tell him all about it, from the long tail to the funny bounce, and let him help us with it."
The purple kangaroo became a symbol for me of all the crazy and difficult things life throws my way, and a reminder that when I am at a loss and confused, I need only to turn to my Lord Jesus and he will be there to help me through.
God has taken me through a lot of difficulties and challenges in my life. But He has always been faithful to sustain me and carry me through. He is my hope and my comfort, an ever-present help in time of trouble. He is the reason that I live.
