Hey everyone says that the economies and the overall world situation are going to get worse this year. They may well be right. But look at the worse side of things is not going to help, right?  So, let's keep looking up knowing that all these shall pass and that things are getting better. Keep up the spirit and we can all make it :-))))

eBay Friends

I always say I enjoy eBay cause I get to know a lot of great people.  Here is a proof.  Helene, one of my customer / eBay friend from Denmark, came visiting Chiang Mai during Songkran (Thai New Year) with her boy friend.  So, we decided to meet up for dinner one night.  It's such fun to chat with them and brought them to the Saturday night market.  So, if any of you happens to come this way, let me know.  Let to treat you with delicious Northern Thai cuisine and a little treasure hunt in the market.

Long time no talk.  Hope all is well with you and your family and friends.  Yes, it's this time of the year again-------Chinese New Year.  It is the year of Rat.  We, the HO's family, here in Chiang Mai would like to wish you all a lovely and memorable year of Rat.  Thank you all for all your supports.  It has been a wonderful experience and an honour to get to know some of you.

I'm purplefreddaki.  I love purple and freddaki is my Greek nickname (Yes, I had a lot of Greek friends when I was studying in England.), hence purplefreddaki.  Collecting vintage fabric especially those from Hmong or Miao has been my passion for the past 6 years and that's one of the reason I moved to Chiang Mai.  The colours and workmanship just never cease to fascinate me.  Through all these years of dealing with the hilltribes here in Chiang Mai, I became good friends with a lot of them.  They are very nice and friendly people.  I have been using all these lovely vintage fabrics to make garments for export and for myself.  A month ago, an American friend of mine mention to me that he and his wife has just started their e-business on eBay.  A light bulb went on and I thought, "Why not?!"  I love to collect and wear all these beautiful garments, why don't I share them with you on eBay?  So, here I am and hope you enjoy wearing them as much as I do.  Email me at freddaki@gmail.com if you have a question.  Would love to hear from you.
