 I have recently changed the name of my store, both Purrfect Vintage and PurrfectPast Vintage refer to me.

She is the one that stayes closest to me and makes sure I go to bed! As you can see she loves vintage fastions, the more silk and lace the better!

I love vintage fashions and after collecting since the 60s am now selling many pieces that I have collected. I worked in a library for 30 years and love to research what I have found and why fastions reflect the history of the moment! The fashions of the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and the 1980s reflect the history of the time! Posperity is reflected in the fullness and limits of fashion.  I have also worked in the theater and in several local antique stores over the years and ebay was an easy answer combining my many loves. Love to buy too and have run out of room for my collection of sleek 1940s, full 1950s, structured 1960s, mini 1970s, and fancy 1980s fashions. I am surrounded by skirts, blouses, neckties, shirts, ladies suits both vintage and contemporary and dresses of all kinds! This is an inherited obsession, my mother was a professional seamstress that wrote  help articles about sewing.

 Did I say that I love to write and have a degree in English Lit and Creative writing? Waiting for that book to happen meanwhile I write auctions!
