Hello, and thanks for visiting my “About Me” page!
It gives me an opportunity to introduce myself, and to let you know that when you do business with me, you are dealing with someone who is passionate about railways and all railway-related items.
I’m Jonathan Newton, and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am a member of the Puffing Billy Preservation Society here in Melbourne where I regularly volunteer my services as fireman on the footplate and I am also a member of several other preserved railways in Victoria as well as a member of the Severn Valley Railway in the UK, and have driven an 8F loco on their Kidderminster to Bridgenorth line – I can’t begin to tell you what a thrill that experience is!
My business Newtel Productions has produce several railway-related DVD’s which you’ll find for sale on eBay, with titles such as “Steam in the Ranges”, “G42 Giant of the Narrow Gauge” and “The Masters – Alan Rockett” and we are also the producers of all the photographic and print design material for the Yarra Valley Railway.
My passion for railways, railway media and people who are interested in railways continues unabated!
