I have this account for my personal buying and selling. The other account was a semi-professional buying & selling account and future business (r.d.garrett western wear?) that was half hobby and half income purposes until I was forced to move to places that don't allow the clutter of Ebay selling (photo 'studio' and such).
r.d.garrett Ebay account is sitting idle at this time for future professional or semi-professional selling since it's based on my name and has a slight western wear sound to it that I usually buy and sell.
So this account is for simply buying and selling personal items. My shopping philosophy on Ebay is that if what I buy doesn't fit (and is good or great condition) then I can turn around and sell it on Ebay. A lot of sellers don't do refunds and besides, on rare occasions what I buy sells for more because of better photos and description (etc.).
I worked for a short time selling 'professionally' and starting to work with Ecommerce sites and software at a small company back in Santa Rosa, CA. Unfortunately our inventory turned out to be 'worthless' especially with the rules we set about selling so the project was dropped and I was laid off. I have an interest in Ecommerce self-employment activities but I don't have the resources or money so it will have to wait as I work on other avenues in my life.
I wish Ebay would separate seller accounts from buyer accounts!

See my listings for details about my sales, I try to edit them to match the item being sold such as shipping methods and packing. I love to give options to buyers but it seems that in part because of Ebay checkout systems design and so on most people don't know or do the choosing process for shipping. Other times I stay with one method to simplify the process as the item is selling for so little and I won't do the S&H charge at this time for personal sales.
