The way we conduct business comes from my years of buying and selling on eBay. When we decided to sell on eBay we put together this page and refer to it when dealing with our customers.
- We will not take your business for granted. Even though this may be the 100th time we sold the same item it is probably your first dealing with us. You will be treated right!
- We will communicate quickly. When selling we are checking our email 5-10 times a day. If you have a question or place an order we will acknowledge it within a timely manner.
- We ship your items quickly. 24-hours of clear payment and it's out the door.
- We charge a reasonable shipping and handling charge. We know there are a lot of costs to cover with shipping items including boxes, bubble wrap, tape, and not to mention my time. However, to gouge the customer is not right.
- We do not charge for services that are free. For example, charging for insurance when shipping with UPS/FedEx is inappropriate. UPS/FedEx provides the first $100 of insurance at no cost to the seller.
- We are upfront with my auction listings and try and leave nothing to chance. You should have all the details from our listing to make your buying decision. In each listing we provide product features, specifications, complete shipping terms, all acceptable payment methods, and any other details that are appropriate.
- The vast majority of the time, we offer an attractive market-driven Buy It Now price for our standard auction items within our RDT eBay Store. We like to give our customers options. While some like the thrill of an auction, others like to be able to purchase an item quickly. Therefore, we offer the best of both.
- For all shipments in the United States, we do not require you to provide feedback first in order to get ours in return. We know many sellers do, and we do not agree with it. We will not hold your feedback hostage to compensate for our bad service or product. All we ask in return is before you send that negative feedback, please contact us and give us a chance to make your buying experience a pleasurable one. See our complete feedback policy below.

- You pay the highest shipping rate detailed for any SINGLE item won and/or ordered.
- You save 50% on the stated shipping for ANY additional item ordered.
For example lets say that you order three items from RealDealTools
- Item 1 has a shipping cost of $5.97.
- Item 2 has a shipping cost of $6.97.
- Item 3 has a shipping cost of $7.97.
Your total shipping will be calculated as follows:
- $7.97 because it is the highest shipping rate for the three items PLUS...
- 50% times $6.97 or $3.49 PLUS...
- 50% times $5.97 or $2.99
- Your total shipping equals $13.95
Special Note for International Shippping
We use a calculated shipping method for international shipping. Thus your shipping charge is based on the weight of your entire order. You will receive a substantial discount (more than 50%) on shipping when your purchase more than one item. For example, an item weighing 2 pounds would cost $30 to ship one piece to the United Kingdom and $37 to ship two of them.
Remember, we do NOT assess international taxes, duties or tariffs on orders shipped outside of the United States. Customers residing outside the United States agree to calculate and pay any and all local taxes or tariffs incurred on items shipped to their country. We ship all over the world at it is impossible for us to know each and every countries laws.
When shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, PO BOX, or APO/FPO, we ship via the United States Postal Service (USPS). If you require us to ship to you at any of these locations, special pricing is required for shipping. The reason for this is because USPS considers both the size of the parcel along with its weight to determine their shipping charge. In order to provide an accurate ship quote, we need to know what your order in total will be. From there we can figure out the size and weight and quote accordingly.
Therefore, if you do NOT see a USPS shipping cost detailed under the "Shipping and handling" ad section then you must email us for a special quote. We are sorry for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Our feedback policy is simple. For orders that are shipped in the United States, we provide feedback as soon as we receive your clear payment. You have done your part to satisfy the transaction and now it is up to us to complete ours. We do not require you to provide feedback first in order to get ours in return. We know many sellers do, and we do not agree with it. We will not hold your feedback hostage to compensate for our bad service or product. Are we at risk? Sure, but you trusted us with your business and we stand behind our product and service. All we ask in return is before you give us Negative or Neutral feedback, please contact us and give us a chance to make you buying experience a pleasurable one.
For International shipments we wait until you receive your product prior to leaving feedback. The reason for this is because there is no way to verify international address like can be done in the United States. We use a software program for our shipping. The program will verify each address for the States and therefore we know it is right before we ship. There is no way to do this for an International address. In fact, PayPal provides very few confirmed International addresses. Therefore, we make sure you receive your product prior to providing feedback.
Return Policy:
Real Deal Tools, Inc. provides a 14-day money back guarantee on all products sold. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply notify us by phone at 717.395.3936 and we will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Returns must be post-marked, within 14-Days from the date received and in re-sell NEW condition to avoid a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to our error. The following terms must be met by you.
- Return the merchandise to us within 14-days of your original receipt of the order.
- You MUST call customer service at 717.395.3936, for an RMA number.
- The products must be returned in new, resalable condition.
- Carefully repackage and double-box the merchandise and clearly mark the RMA on the outside package.
- You must include all packaging materials, including instruction manuals, warranty registration cards, etc. Packaging materials must not be torn or damaged and registration cards are to be unmarked.
- We recommend items be shipped with a tracking number. You must pay any return shipping expense. Again, if the return is due to our error, you will be credited all reasonable and customary freight charges relevant to that item. Please include the postal receipt in your return package.

International Return Policy:
International orders are governed by our Standard Return Policy with the following amendments. International Customers bear full responsibility for insuring return merchandise along with any shipping, duty and tax charges. Merchandise must arrive at our warehouse within 20-days of initiating a return. Manufacture warranties sometimes vary in countries other than the United States, please contact the Respective Manufacture to find out whether coverage varies in your country.
Restocking Fees:
In order to keep our prices low, we have to charge a re-stocking fee in certain instances to re-coup the cost associated with returns. Fortunately, we do not issue a re-stocking fee on most returns. A 15% re-stocking fee will be assessed in the following situations:
- Non-defective merchandise returned in visibly used, or damaged condition
- Orders "Refused" without authorization
- Returns that were shipped back after 30 days of the date received. (Note: unless authorized, late returns will be rejected).
Once we receive your return, please allow 14-Days for us to inspect and process your return. PayPal purchases will be refunded to the account you provided when you placed your order.
Order Cancellations:
Because we strive to process and send orders from our warehouse as quickly as possible, we are unable to cancel orders once they are shipped. Customers who do not wish to receive an order should call customer support at 717.395.3936.
As you probably know, eBay does not allow its sellers to advertise that they accept payment via check or money orders. At the same time, we cannot stop you from making a payment with either method. Therefore, we put this section together to help our customers. If you want to pay with a Check or Money Order you can by making it out to Real Deal Tools, Inc. and sending it to this address.
